ReplyDeleteTitle: Being a Multilingual Student Can Strengthen The 1 Malaysia Concept.
Reason choosing the topic: Why do we choose this topic is because we find it that most of the students in UKM when doing anything from eating, discussing, studying they will tend to sit together in their own race and the people who share the same mother tongue. For example, Malay will sit and talk with Malay, Chinese with Chinese, and same goes to the Indian. One of the reason is also because of each of their culture, background knowledge are different.
Purpose: We want to prove or somehow show that there is a way to break the barrier between the Chinese, Malay, India and also the international student to mingle and mixed with each other. in other words in a group of students should consists these 4 races, By doing that, we are suggesting that one should be a multilingual students because this can strengthen the 1 Malaysia concept among the students in UKM.

dear izyan and the group,,awesome guys. that idea was great. sometimes we should break the tradition. being a multilingual student is such a bonus.

it also an advantage when you apply for a job.in our country, or in UKM, it help strengthen relationship in multi-racial society. so,1 malaysia concept will be implemented. thumbs up! ^^~ good idea!
dear izyan and the group,i think you guys have had a good topic as the concept 1 Malaysia is so important to us in a multiraces country.being a multilingual student can help us communicate to each other and we get to know the other races well.this can indirectly strengthen the concept of 1 Malaysia because i believe when we are communicate with the other races,could reduce down the misunderstanding among each other and cause us to cooperate.

We also want the confidence level of UKM's student to be increased when they communicate in other languages.
ReplyDeleteBy becoming a multilingual student/person we can have access to more resources. We will also be able to participate in more conversations and discussions with people from different races and this can improve understanding of our different cultures.
ReplyDeleteBy understanding other races' culture, we can empathize, relate and learn from them. Decreasing the instances of prejudice and greatly improving inter-racial relationships. All this will in turn strengthen the 1 Malaysia concept.
First of all,well done for muaz and the gang ,because their topic are good n interesting..I agree that ,student should be multilingual because we live in country that consist of multiraces.So,it is important for student to be multilingual because it can help us communicate effectively.If we just only know 1 language,it is difficult to make communication.In conclusion,student must know at least 2 or 3 language to improve their communication skill n at the same time,it will strenghten our 1 malaysian concept. ReplyDeleteTitle chosen: How recycling relates to going green.
Reason choosing the topic: we think that recycle is one of the method that can contribute to a green and safer environment. As we all can see, there are so many garbage anywhere nowadays;at the roadside, neighborhood area and maybe the future generation can't find place to play anymore because the field is full of garbage. Our concern to this problem makes the four of us to pick this topic.
Purpose: we want to exclaim and shows that the recycling process is very important whenever we are. one hand that contribute to recycle can help the environment cleaner and greener from the waste. as the future generation that someday will lead the country, why don't we take the step to going green? ;)

ReplyDeleteWow ?Well done to group hanisa for choosing the topic about recycling.This topic is quite interesting bcause nowadays,many people are not taking serious about recycle.Recycle is important not only us,but also to nature.The government already organise a lot of campaign about recycle,but there is still no improvement.People are just think about theirself only and not about the others.

Reason for choosing this topic:As all of us know that,social networking has becoming a common tool of communication for everyone of us especially teenagers.The example of social networking such as facebook,youtube,skype and so on.Social networking does bring us a lot of benefits but disadvantages as well and teenagers are so addicted to it.
Purpose:Our group will discuss this topic from the advantages and disadvantages of the social networking to us.We will see how the social networking affect teenagers' life from this two aspects and what should we do after we realise the consequences.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all,well done to SooK HsEn n group members because the topic they choose are interesting.As we all know,social networking application are now become the most important things among teenager.For example each teenager in the world absolutely have facebook account.With this application,teenager get closer to each other by chating,upload a photo n so on.So,if they often use it,sooner,they will become addicted. So,this will give them bad impact in their life .For example,they become anti-sosial.It is because in facebook they just chating without seeing each other face to face.So,in the real life,they became afraid or shy to stand in front of others.

Morning guy !Wow !Congrate to Suriahamdan n group member becaus the topic ,they are choosing are intersting.I very excited to give my opinion about fb.Like suria said,fb has become phenomena among student not only in malaysia but also to other country.Fb has the advantages n disadvantages.The advantages is we can interact or connect to all people from all over the world.By using fb,we can save our money becaus it did not charge us when chatting while if we use phone,they will charge us.
ReplyDeleteThe disadvantages for fb is people become indivualistic n anti sosial.It is bcause people just interact with others in virtual only n not interact face to face.So in reality life,they become afraid or not confident to stand in front of people.

ReplyDeletesuria,i never expected that our topic would be same~!haha..anyway,our topic do slightly different as your group focus on facebook while my group's topic emphasize to the social networking.
between,it is a good issue to be discuss about as teenagers nowadays so addicted in playing facebook and they should have realise how does facebook affected on them in good and bad ways.
